Quarterman @ LCC 27 Sep 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3idpqma0rNU&#038;list=PL8BB30A2B1C2AAAEF&#038;index=16\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\"   src=\"http:\/\/i4.ytimg.com\/vi\/3idpqma0rNU\/default.jpg\"><\/a>\nI thanked the Commission for doing the right thing about the\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/10\/chip-grant-twice-ashley-paulk-broke-the-tie-lcc-27-september-2011.html\">\nCHIP grant.<\/a>\nAnd for at least three people sitting up front (Evans, Paulk, and Pritchard)\nlowering their monitors so citizens (and even\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/09\/news-so-good-theres-a-law-against-it.html\">cameras<\/a>) could see their faces.\n<p>\nThen I relayed the news about the\n<a href=\"\/blog\/category\/national-solar\">\n$1.5 billion investment in Gadsden County, Florida<\/a>\n<a href=\"\/blog\/category\/national-solar\">\n<img style=\"float:right;border:none;\"   width=\"135\" height=\"134\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/www.solarserver.com\/uploads\/pics\/gadsden_county_in_florida_p.jpg\"><\/a>\nfor a 400 MW solar project.\nPlus ongoing jobs, expanded education, private sources of investment,\nand customers for the electricity.\nUnlike the failed local biomass project,\nNational Solar Power&#8217;s Gadsden County project already has\nProgress Energy signed up as a customer for its electricity.\nI recommended that the Commission go on record as being in favor of such\nprojects locally.\n<p>\nHere&#8217;s\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3idpqma0rNU&#038;list=PL8BB30A2B1C2AAAEF&#038;index=16\">\nthe video:<\/a>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"480\" height=\"390\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3idpqma0rNU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<br>\n<small>\nThanks for CHIP and lower monitors; also solar &#8211;John S.
