\n\n<\/a>\nIf I were Superintendent in the Lowndes County School System\non November 9, 2011 and I had 7700 additional students and a potential\n$10 Million Deficit this would be my starting list:\n

\nWinners:\n<\/H3>\n
    \n
  • \nBus Drivers (ALL – NO supervisors, trainers or mechanics)\n
  • \nLunchroom Staff (Until we decide which schools to close)\n
  • \nCustodial Staff (Until we decide which schools to close – no supervisor)\n
  • \nMedia Specialists (Until we decide which schools to close – then I would move you down to the Losers section)\n
  • \n2 Maintenance Workers (Heating\/Air – no supervisor)\n
  • \nAcademic Teachers (with good evaluations) – NOT ALL because I would raise teacher class size to the max and ask for a waiver for an additional child or two\n1 Asst. Superintendent\n
  • \n2 Technology support staff (no Supervisors)\n
  • \nSchool Secty (Until we decide which schools to close)\n
  • \n1 Finance staff person (Payroll)\n
  • \nPrincipals (Until we decide which schools to close – except Southeast, will not rebuild)\n<\/ul>\n

    \nLosers:\n<\/H3>\n

    • \nTeachers (especially ones that do not have tenure)\n
    • \nAssistant Principals (at Elementary Schools that have more than one)\n
    • \nMedia Specialists (Until we decide which schools to close)\n

    • \nTechnology Supervisor\n
    • \nSpecial Education Director\n
    • \n2 Assistant Superintendents\n
    • \nDirector of ESPLOST Projects\n
    • \nSuperintendent\n
    • \nAll Central Office Support Staff\n
    • \nFood Service Director and Staff\n
    • \nTicket Manager\n
    • \nCommunity Relations Director\n
    • \n1 Social Worker\n
    • \nVECA Staff (ALL)\n
    • \nPinevale Learning Center Staff (ALL)\n
    • \nPersonnel Director and Staff\n
    • \nTitle I Director and Staff\n
    • \nDirector of Testing\n
    • \nMail Courier\n
    • \nVocational Teachers due to change in direction (Not All)\n
    • \nElective Teachers (Some)\n
    • \nParent Involvement Coordinators (Title I $ will be cut)\n

    • \nValdosta Police Department Dare Officers\/SRO’s and Football Games (taken over by the County if funding is available)\n
    • \n1 Band Director at VHS – student fees will increase and school will not furnish as many instruments\n
    • \nPerforming Arts Center Mgr. – public will be charged a higher costs to use\n
    • \nDirector of Purchasing and Staff\n
    • \n1 School Psychologist\n
    • \n9 Board of Education Members\n
    • \n2 @ Asst Principals at VMS and JLN\n
    • \n2 Asst Principals at VHS\n
    • \nNo Swim Team staff\n
    • \nIB Teachers would be relocated if positions are available\n
    • \n5 Furlough days for the first year\n

        • \nPinevale Learning Center\n<\/ul>\nNow it took me about 15 minutes to come up with this list and it’s not\nnear what my actually happen during the 2011-12 school year if we don’t\nget people out to vote against this misguided attempt to dismantle\nour schools. If I didn’t include you don’t thank for one second that\nyou are safe. Remember I didn’t hire you and I don’t owe you anything,\nso pay your bills on time and keep your credit ratings high because you\nmay need to rent for a while.\n
