\r\nBack in 2011 the County Clerk didn’t say which May she would provide\r\nthat list of ordinances….\r\n\r\n\"300x388<\/a>\r\nHer response of today is below.\r\nThe\r\n\r\nold ordinance<\/a> is so old it’s signed by Inez Pendleton.\r\nIt’s still in force, though, so shouldn’t it be on the county’s website,\r\nalong with all the other ordinances in force that also aren’t there? See below for list; also notice the dates I’ve boldfaced.\r\nThe\r\n\r\nproposed new ordinance<\/a>\r\nis not readily translatable to plain text; looks like she scanned a paper copy.\r\nBoth are relevant to\r\ntoday’s Lowndes County Commission meeting<\/a>.\r\nFor the minutes she mentioned, see separate post<\/a>.\r\n

The proposed ordinance is a total rewrite that\r\nwill take the place of the 1992 ordinance. If approved, it will\r\nnullify the 1992 ordinance. This is also the case with quite a few\r\nof the ordinances you have listed below. Staff is in the process of\r\nreconciling this list for you. The minutes you requested will be\r\nforwarded today in a separate email.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nAlso, now that I know that there is a Nuisance Abatement ordinance from 1992, I’m interested in that and the proposed revision.\r\n

\r\nI re-submitted my formal request for the names of all the ordinances in effect in Lowndes County and\/or their complete text this morning.\r\n

\r\nRegarding minutes on the web site, the ones I mentioned are still not available.\r\n
