\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n2:30 PM today,\r\nshould developers not have to follow code and put back trees\r\non the unnecessary and environmentally hazardous Moody Family Housing\r\non Val-Del Road?\r\nYou wouldn’t know who this was by a pretty name like\r\nAzalea Commons,\r\nor an acronym like\r\nACC Group III Housing,\r\nand only the\r\n\r\nboard packet<\/a>\r\nmentions Balfour Beatty,\r\nbut it’s the same\r\n\r\nMoody Family Housing<\/a>\r\nin an\r\naquifer recharge zone<\/a>\r\nthat\r\nalready had a sinkhole<\/a>\r\nas admitted by\r\na K Street lawyer<\/a> to the\r\nLowndes County Commission\r\nand told to them and to the Air Force by VSU professors<\/a>\r\nthat the Air Force proceeded to ignore in its\r\nenvironmental assessment<\/a>\r\nand the Lowndes County Commission rezoned anyway.\r\nStaff recommend 20% “relief” from planting trees<\/a>.\r\nHow about the county get some relief from unnecessary sprawl? \r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThey did provide\r\n\r\na table of the trees they want to cut down<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nHere’s the agenda, which is not on the City of Valdosta website,\r\nappearing here courtesy of\r\n\r\n ZBOA member Gretchen Quarterman.\r\nShe sent the entire board packet, which is now\r\n\r\non the LAKE website<\/a>.\r\nI see no reason Valdosta can’t put that on their own website.\r\n
