\nPlease read the message by Rev. Rose and then mark your calendar for\nOct. 22, 2011. On that day we will have the largest March\/Rally in the\n\n<\/a>\nhistory of Valdosta. This will be the March that will show\neveryone in Georgia and America that we the Citizens of\nLowndes-Valdosta, know how to come together and we will no longer stand\nfor the Lies, Greed, and Disrespect from Cuee. We will for once and\nfor all tell Cuee and the Chamber that “Our Children are not for Sale”\nThis March will show Cuee and the Chamber that when we all stand\ntogether; Democrats, Republicans, NAACP, SCLC, White, Black, Hispanic,\nRich, Poor, Young and Old we show what true democracy is all\nabout. Cuee has tried everything to break our spirit with negative\ncampaign ads and misleading information, but they did not. They\ncannot break the solidarity that has grown throughout this community\nover the past two months.\n

\nTo watch Republicans and Democrats set aside their\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

\nparties differences\nand come together for the sake of our children and the community has\nbeen inspiring to say the least. To see former Teachers,\nAdministrators, and Students from both Lowndes and Valdosta walking and\nvolunteering in the rain and heat has been a awesome thing to see.\n

\nWe still have a long ways to go and this March can be the catalyst\nthat energizes every registered voter in Valdosta. Please plan to come\nout this Sat. Oct, 22, at 9:00 am. We need every Teacher,\nAdministrator, Bus Driver, Non Certified Employee of Valdosta and\nLowndes School systems at this March. We need every Church and all of\ntheir congregations at this March. We need every Sorority and\nFraternity, we need the American Legion Posts, we need the Am-Vets\nPost, we need homemade vote “NO” for School Unification signs and\nbanners.\n

\nWe need Mothers and Fathers, Grand Moms and Grand Dads. But\nwho we need most at this March is our Children! We need them there so\nthat they can witness history. They need to know that we as a\ncommunity care about their future and that we fight to the end for\nthem. They must see the real power of a community when it comes\ntogether. They must see and witness this March because one day they\nwill be called upon.\n

\nPlease forward this email to everyone you know, today, and then tell\nthem to email everyone they know.\n

\nRemember to vote “NO” and to vote early!!!\n

\nHundreds of people are expected to assemble in front of the\nValdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce at 9:00 A.M. Saturday,\nOctober 22nd., and march to the Martin Luther King memorial on the\ncorner of Martin Luther King and Ashley Streets.\n

\nPlease join us. You will hear from former Valdosta City Schools\n\n<\/a>\nsuperintendent, Sam Allen, and other leaders on why we must vote no on\nSchool Unification. This vote is so crucial to our future and the\nfuture of our children. We are also prepared to set the record straight\nas to why Dr. King’s name is being used to promote something that he\nwas for, as a means to get something that he was against. Everybody who\nunderstood Dr. King and his message, knows that what is being done in\nhis name is insulting, at best.\n

\nPlease join us, and tell your relatives and friends about it. It is\nexpected to be the largest march in Valdosta’s history. You won’t want\nto miss it.\n
