Quarterman\" src=\"http:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/HxXMIDSwCvY\/default.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HxXMIDSwCvY&#038;index=13&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiFXu36gJ0F9W5a7kQb2HFts\">Video.<\/a>\r\nDisplaying the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wwals.net\/2015\/06\/02\/brochures-for-alapaha-river-water-trail-2\/\">Alapaha River Water Trail<\/a> brochures\r\nby WWALS Watershed Coalition, and pointing out the Naylor Boat Ramp on the map,\r\nI asked what was the status of that project that Lowndes County is building\r\nwith SPLOST funds.\r\nNobody answered in the public meeting, but afterwards\r\nCommissioner Mark Wisenbaker and Chairman Bill Slaughter\r\nsaid it was currently waiting on GA-DNR, but assuming\r\nthat went well it was on schedule for this fall.\r\nI told them that was good news!\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nAlso I mentioned it would be even better\r\nif they could say it in public so I didn&#8217;t have to try\r\nto remember and paraphrase what they said.\r\nThe Chairman answered mysteriously, &ldquo;I&#8217;m not a reporter.&rdquo;\r\nNo, he&#8217;s the source.\r\nActually, the county has a Public Information Officer who should be the source,\r\nbut experience indicates any questions to her would be answered with\r\n&#8220;file an open records request&#8221;.\r\nIn any case, it&#8217;s good news that the Naylor Boat Ramp is on schedule.\r\nAnd thanks to Commissioner Mark Wisenbaker for taking an interest.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nAs the Commissioners were leaving the room, Commissioner Joyce Evans\r\nmentioned they would be having a meeting about that in the next few months.\r\nI recommended they invite some WWALS people to that.\r\nShe didn&#8217;t say they wouldn&#8217;t.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nI related\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wwals.net\/2015\/07\/19\/please-join-the-opposition-to-the-sabal-trail-watershed-invader-wwals-to-ssrwpc\/\">\r\na number of new developments<\/a> with the Sabal Trail fracked methane\r\npipeline, such as\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/spectrabusters.org\/2015\/07\/24\/albany-city-commission-to-convene-a-meeting-with-dougherty-county-commissioners-congressional-and-state-delegates-to-discuss-sabal-pipeline\/\">\r\nDougherty County, Albany, and their state and federal reps<\/a>\r\nplanning a joint opposition meeting, and asked what Lowndes County\r\nwas going to do.\r\nAnswer: silence.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<li>\r\n<a name=\"Adjournment\" href=\"#Adjournment\">\r\n10.
