Quarterman, 27 July 2015\" src=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/874cbeecbc48a05509b90de1e4ecb2b7.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCounty Chairman Bill Slaughter then interjected that that formerly proposed\r\nrezoning had &#8220;absolutely nothing to do with&#8221; the now-proposed MAZ ULDC changes.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nOn the same Tax Assessors&#8217; map here, you can also see a subdivision farther\r\nwest on the other side of Davidson Road that was put in in 2010\r\n(according to the land sales in the Tax Assessors&#8217; database),\r\nafter the county paved Davidson Road starting in 2007 with GDOT assistance\r\n(according to the county&#8217;s own minutes).\r\nThe Tax Assessors&#8217; database says lands for that subdivision were handled\r\nby Lowndes Development LLC, which also still owns a lot on Davidson Road.\r\nThe Georgia Secretary of State corporations search at the moment isn&#8217;t\r\nturning up any records for that LLC.\r\nHowever, the Tax Assessors&#8217; database gives an address of \r\n3723 Bemiss Road Ste A, Valdosta, GA 31605.\r\nAt that address google finds Farmers Insurance agent William Waller.\r\nNo doubt that also has absolutely nothing to do with the proposed MAZ changes.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nMarshall also wanted to know about tax relief for people living within the MAZ.\r\nCounty Manager Joe Pritchard said it was &#8220;premature&#8221; to even come up with a\r\n&#8220;potential&#8221; solution.\r\nSo what is the purpose of the proposed ULDC changes for the MAZ?\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nAlso,\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/lowndescounty.com\/AgendaCenter\">\r\nthe minutes on the new, improved, county website<\/a> only go back to 2012.\r\nSo how are the Commissioners and the public to know what went on back in\r\n2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011 on Davidson Road?\r\nFortunately, LAKE has copies of those minutes.\r\nMore later.\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n<li>\r\n<a name=\"Lake-Park-Pub-4991-US-Hwy-41-S\" href=\"#Lake-Park-Pub-4991-US-Hwy-41-S\">\r\n6.b.
