\r\nWhile\r\n\r\nDougherty County, Albany, and their state and federal reps<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nplan a joint opposition meeting to the Sabal Trail fracked methane pipeline invader, there’s nothing about that pipeline\r\non\r\nMonday’s\r\n8:30 AM\r\n\r\nagenda<\/a> of the Lowndes County Commission.\r\nThree items on\r\n\r\nemergency response,<\/a>\r\n\r\nemergency planning<\/a>,\r\nand\r\n911 operations<\/a>,\r\nplus one on\r\nliability<\/a>,\r\nbut nothing about the\r\ninvading pipeline soft target<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThe highly controversial\r\n\r\nMoody Activity Zoning Districts (MAZ)<\/a>\r\nare back, despite massive opposition.\r\nThe Planning Commission will hear MAZ again Monday evening,\r\nand because there’s only one day from then until the County Commission\r\ncan vote on MAZ Tuesday, the County Planner says:\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\nI do not expect the full versions of the ULDC to be ready in time for the July 28th<\/sup><\/small> LCBOC meeting.\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nSo how can Commissioners make an informed decision?\r\n

\r\nAlso requiring a public hearing Tuesday evening is a\r\nBeer, Wine and Liquor License – Lake Park Pub – 4991 US Hwy. 41 S.<\/a>, plus another without a hearing, for\r\nLake Park Pub – 4991 US Hwy. 41 S.<\/a>\r\n

\r\nAnd Lowndes County Commissioners are ready to\r\nsign an agreement<\/a>\r\nabout the\r\n$16,915 to upgrade a water main to subsidize a developer\r\n\r\nthey agreed on last month<\/a>.\r\nThis was after\r\n\r\nthe Zoning Board of Appeals in February<\/a>\r\nrefused a variance for the same developer not to connect to county water.\r\nAnd that developer subsidy is more than\r\n\r\nthe $15,957 the county declined to provide to study public transportation and truck routing<\/a>,\r\neven though the City of Valdosta, the state of Georgia, and the federal\r\ngovernment already approved the vast majority of the funding.\r\n

\r\nThey plan to reappoint Jim Scruggs to the Construction Board Of Adjustments And Appeals<\/a>.\r\nAnd there are two\r\n
