I should\nbe able to make a choice, but I shouldn\u2019t have to make this choice\nwith their greed. Their greed is going to take away all of my money.\u201d\n<p>\nErin Hurley, senior anthropology major, spoke outside of Bank of America,\nasking who is a bank patron, who wants to pay the fee and who will\nwithdraw his or her account. Protesters raised their hands and verbally\nresponded to Hurley\u2019s first question, responded with a resounding\n\u201cNo\u201d to the second and cheered in agreement to the third.\n<p>\n\u201cWho got bailed out?\u201d Hurley asked.  \u201cThey did,\u201d the protestors\nsaid.  \u201cWho did it?\u201d she asked.  \u201cWe did,\u201d they said.\n<\/blockquote>\nThey even included two sentences about\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/10\/no-private-prison-john-s-quarterman.html\">\nme talking<\/a> at the\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/10\/at-the-mlk-monument-occupy-valdosta.html\">\nMLK Monument<\/a>\nabout\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/10\/opposed-to-a-private-prison-in-lowndes-county-georgia-john-s-quarterman-et-al.html\">\nhow we don&#8217;t need a private prison in Lowndes County.<\/a>\n<p>\nPretty good coverage of the remaining stops, including more students\nat the VDT,\nand some of the main issues at the Chamber.\n<p>\nAt the Chamber the Spectator did the obligatory interview-the-other-guys.\nI do wonder about this part, though:\n<blockquote>\nAnother group of protestors stood against the original protestors to\nmake sure they stayed clear of their goal.\n<\/blockquote>\nUm, there were six counter-protesters, and they stayed on the other\nside of the street, while 150 Occupy Valdosta folks hobnobbed with\nChamber President Myrna Ballard, who petted their dogs.\n<p>\nBut I especially like this part:\n<blockquote>\nDisclaimer: Due to mistakes noticed in the print version that ran on Oct. 20, the story was updated accordingly.
