\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nAt a very well attended June 29th meeting,\r\nthe notorious\r\n\r\nTXT-2015-01 Moody Activity Zoning Districts (MAZ) ULDC text amendments<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\ngot tabled again by the Planning Commission,\r\nbut the Lowndes County Commission could take them up anyway at their\r\nmeeting a month later.\r\nThe Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce did oppose these changes in person\r\n(both their President and Chairman)\r\nafter\r\n\r\nvoting a resolution of opposition<\/a>.\r\nMeanwhile, LAKE has laid out the board packet item<\/a> from last time so you can get an idea of what’s going on and why, including links to the LAKE videos of the previous GLPC and Lowndes County Commission meetings where these MAZ changes were discussed.\r\n

\r\n\r\nREZ-2015-12 Martha Russ<\/a>\r\nwants to\r\n\r\n zone to less density while\r\n\r\nREZ-2015-13 Clementine Miller<\/a>\r\nwants more density.\r\nAnd in Valdosta\r\n\r\nCU-2015-02 Kelly Barcol<\/a>\r\nwants a church in a Single-Family Residential (R-10) district.\r\n
