\r\n\r\nOver on the Finance Department\r\nweb page<\/a>,\r\nit\r\n\r\n says “Budget Documents, View Most Recent<\/a>,\r\nwhich gets you the “Fiscal Year 2015 Operating Budget”\r\ndated June 17, 2014.\r\n

\r\nPresumably tomorrow morning they’ll be considering the Fiscal Year 2016\r\nOperating Budget.\r\nWhere’s a draft of it the public can see?\r\nCounty Clerk Paige Dukes and three Lowndes County Commissioners went to the\r\n\r\nVDT Open Government Symposium in Macon<\/a>\r\nand then held another one in their own Commission Chambers.\r\nYet the local government doesn’t seem much more open on this\r\nissue of showing the public what they’re working on,\r\nnot even when its the budget for where tax dollars will go.\r\n
