Faith based thinking might\nfly in religious institutions, but in the education of our children,\nwe have a pretty good handle on what is needed. Deferring to those\ntrained and with years of experience in the education of our children,\nwho have brought\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/11\/all-about-school-consolidation.html\">\ncountless facts to the discussion,<\/a> none of which the\nChamber can or has bothered to refute, I will go along with\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/08\/the-school-systems-dont-want-to-consolidate-walb.html\">both Boards of Education<\/a>\nand vote NO to consolidation.\n<p>\nI did note that Mr Gooding offered to &#8220;combine our resources and our\nefforts and work together as a community to transform two average\nschool systems&#8230;&#8221; Since he used the first person plural  &#8220;our,&#8221;\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<!--more-->\n<blockquote>\nI can\nonly conclude he was including himself, the Chamber and its members,\nalong with the Boards of Education and citizens of the county. How\nwonderful! This is what is needed. Mr Gooding is offering the expertise,\ntime, and financial resources of its Chamber to help educate all the\nchildren of our community.
