\r\nSabal Trail is already sending “final request” eminent domain threatening\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nletters to Lowndes County landowners saying it is “imperative” for that\r\ninvading company from Houston, Texas to survey local land for its fracked methane 36-inch pipeline in a hundred-foot right of way.\r\nTomorrow morning at 11:30 AM in Leesburg, Georgia, Sabal Trail demands\r\na judge provide a summary judgment for eminent domain surveying against\r\nsome Mitchell County landowners.\r\nIf they get that judgment, they will very likely claim it applies to\r\nLowndes County landowners.\r\nThere’s still time\r\n\r\nto write a letter to the Clerk of Superior Court in Leesburg<\/a>\r\nagainst such a judgment.\r\nAnd you can come to Leesburg yourself to protest.\r\n

\r\nAn eminent domain survey “final request”<\/a>\r\nSabal Trail sent a Lowndes County landowner this month\r\ncited\r\n\r\n O.C.G.A. 22-3-88, which is the same Georgia law Lowndes County Attorney\r\nBill Langdale noted\r\n\r\ndoes not apply because Sabal Trail does not provide gas to Georgia<\/a>.\r\nWhen Sabal Trail claimed in its filing for the formal FERC permitting process<\/a> in November that the Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia is one of its customers and that\r\nthe counties needing the gas the most are Dougherty and Colquitt<\/a>.\r\nBoth counties had already passed resolutions against Sabal Trail<\/a>,\r\nas had Dougherty County’s seat, Albany.\r\n

\r\nThe Mayor of Moultrie, Colquitt County’s seat, said on WCTV<\/a> that nobody asked Moultrie if they needed any gas.\r\nThe Valdosta Daily Times ran a long series of articles about\r\n\r\nSabal Trail’s\r\nclaims they never sent any eminent domain letters\r\nuntil confronted with the Langdale letter and others<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThe City of Albany and Brooks County also filed legal motions with FERC to intervene against Sabal Trail<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nDespite the purported MGAG customers wanting no part of Sabal Trail,\r\nit’s very likely Sabal Trail will use this spurious MGAG deal\r\nin a hearing in Leesburg, Georgia 11:30 AM Tuesday March 24th<\/a> demanding\r\nan eminent domain surveying summary judgment against some Georgia\r\nlandowners. If the pipeline company gets that judgement, who doubts\r\nthey will attempt to use it against landowners everywhere in\r\nGeorgia?\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nHere’s who you can write to today against such a judgement:\r\n
