\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nNothing was said about the\r\nGA HB 170 state tax grab from local governments<\/a>,\r\neven though both school boards and the Valdosta City Council\r\nalready passed resolutions against it.\r\nNo citizens spoke about animals, or about anything else,\r\nnot even in the Public Hearings,\r\nexcept for\r\n\r\nme thanking the Commission about the Naylor Boat Ramp<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThe \r\nDevine Subdivision<\/a> at Tillman Crossing\r\nwas tabled at request of applicant to try to sort out continuing\r\nconcerns about safety and congestion,\r\nwhile\r\nREZ-2015-01 Gramercy 2<\/a>\r\nand\r\nREZ-2015-03 Scurry Property<\/a>,\r\nwere unanimously approved.\r\nNo citizens spoke for or against any of them.\r\n

\r\nYou the taxpaying public didn’t get to see any of the materials\r\nin the board packet\r\nbeyond the one-page agenda item forms, before the Commission voted last night,\r\nunless you were in the Commission Chambers or watched the LAKE videos of yesterday morning’s Work Session.\r\nThe open records request for those rezonings came back with\r\npaper maps, despite my request for electronic format;\r\nat least the paper maps were in color this time.\r\nI asked again for electronic format, and will post them\r\nsoon even if I have to scan them.\r\nThe other open records request, for maps and materials for the\r\nengineering agenda items, came back with no maps at all, so I sent\r\nit back to be satisfied.\r\nBoth County Planner Jason Davenport and County Engineer Mike Fletcher\r\nsaid they had never seen those open records requests,\r\nand they’d both be happy to email electronic copy if they\r\nwere authorized to do so by the County Clerk.\r\n

\r\nAll the other items were unanimously approved:\r\n\r\n\r\nthe\r\n\r\nabandonment of Deloach Road<\/a>.\r\nthe\r\n\r\nutility relocation at exits 22 and 29<\/a>,\r\nthe\r\n\r\nNaylor Boat Ramp<\/a>,\r\nthe\r\n\r\nMorven Road Bridge Replacement<\/a>\r\nand\r\nthe\r\n\r\nPublic Defender Services Contract<\/a>.\r\n
