Abandonment Of Deloach Road E (CR 95)\" src=\"http:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/sdAvpnwS4yQ\/default.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sdAvpnwS4yQ&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiES2LcpY6LCLTZS8UU549ED&#038;index=7\">Video.<\/a>\r\nAdjoining property owners asked for it to be abandoned.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCommissioner Demarcus Marshall wanted to be sure people don&#8217;t put up\r\ngates or fences prior to an official process of abandonment.\r\nCounty Engineer Mike Fletcher said they could do that.\r\nPublic Works Director Robin Cumbus said she had looked for gates and had\r\nfound some on roads that were already closed, but not on this road.\r\nChairman Slaughter said the point had been made that anybody who\r\nput a gate across a public road would have an issue with Public Works.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nComissioner Mark Wisenbaker move to abandon, and Marshall seconded,\r\nwhen County Manager Joe Pritchard reminded them they actually needed\r\nto call for a public hearing.\r\nCounty Attorney G. Walter Elliott explained further Commissioners could\r\ndetermine either:\r\nthat the road has ceased to be used and no public purpose is served,\r\nor the removal of the road from the public road system is in the interests\r\nof the public.\r\nWell, they could also determine either.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nWisenbaker amended his motion to the Attorney&#8217;s second alternative.\r\nMarshall seconded.\r\nAll aye.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<li>\r\n<a name=\"Evidence-Based-Associates-Agreement-For-Service\" href=\"#Evidence-Based-Associates-Agreement-For-Service\">\r\n6.d.
