\r\n\r\nWe’ve got a little list, a spreadsheet as a list,\r\n
\r\nplease don’t take this as a diss, we think they have been missed….\r\n<\/em>\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nUnlike Ko-Ko’s in the Mikado,\r\n\r\nthis list<\/a> is of things previously\r\nmissed that are slowly being found (or created),\r\nso local governments can tell the citizens what fine things they’ve\r\nbeen up to, and so citizens can decide what they need to deal with\r\nand what topics they can provide input on.\r\nHere’s the\r\n\r\nLAKE sunshine list for local government<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThe Lowndes County Commission just got some additions,\r\nwith\r\nits new website<\/a>,\r\nby \r\n\r\nposting videos of its own meetings<\/a>,\r\nand by\r\n\r\nposting agendas and minutes for the Planning Commission<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThe Valdosta City Council does pretty well, with its website<\/a>,\r\nits agendas and minutes<\/a>,\r\nand\r\nthe\r\n\r\nagendas and summaries and minutes for ZBOA<\/a>.\r\nValdosta does not (yet) video and post its own meetings, but\r\nit does have what appears to be\r\n\r\na complete list of its ordinances with links to their text<\/a>.\r\nDasher also has \r\nits ordinances online<\/a>.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nMeanwhile the Lowndes County Commission has only\r\n\r\n a very brief list online\r\nand\r\n\r\nafter four years of asking<\/a>\r\nstill doesn’t even know what all its own ordinances are.\r\n

\r\nNeither Lowndes nor Valdosta have a list of their resolutions online.\r\n

\r\nBoth \r\n\r\nLowndes<\/a> and\r\n\r\nValdosta<\/a> have passed resolutions against the\r\nSabal Trail pipeline, but neither have passed an ordinance yet.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nMost of the local elected governments have their own websites,\r\nexcept Hahira, which still\r\n\r\nonly has an old one<\/a> that doesn’t\r\neven show the correct mayor or council members.\r\n

\r\n\r\nObviously not all the 20+ appointed boards are on there yet; it’s a work in progress.\r\nProbably you’ll think of more organizations, or more items that have been missed.\r\nIf so:\r\n
