\n\n<\/a>\nSuperintendent Debra Folsom got the governor’s order Tuesday\nsuspending the three board members.\n

\n“This is all new territory for us,” said Folsom. “We’re consulting\nour attorney to see what the next steps we will take to fill the\npositions.”\n

\nDecember 20 a review commission made up of the attorney general and\ntwo school board members from across Georgia were appointed by the\ngovernor to review the case.\n

\n“They heard evidence from the prosecution and from the accused and\nthe conclusion of that they made a determination and forwarded that\nto the governor’s office whether to suspend or not to suspend the\nthree school board members,” said South Georgia District Attorney\nJoe Mulholland.\n

\nDecember 30, the review panel unanimously made their decision.\n<\/blockquote>\nThat would be the same Joe Mulholland\n\nwho’s been on TV<\/a> saying things like\n\n\n“It’s pretty clear there\nwas fraud here.”\n

\nGeorgia Governor Nathan Deal issued an executive order on Tuesday,\nJan. 10th., suspending three Brooks County school board members.\n

\nSchool Superintendent Debbie Folsom says she received the order\naround 4:30 p.m. Tuesday suspending Nancy Dennard, Elizabeth Thomas,\nand Linda Troutman.\n<\/blockquote>\nYou may wonder how Nancy Dennard’s name got in there.\nWCTV had an update 28 November 2011:\n

\nDistrict Attorney Joe Mulholland, a special prosecutor, says Brenda Monds\nand Debra Dennard have now been indicted. The other 10 were charged last\nDecember on charges related to the July 2010 primary.\n<\/blockquote>\nSo I guess it’s now the Quitman 12.\n

\nThe WALB story also says:\n

\nThey’re all still awaiting trial.\n<\/blockquote>\nInteresting how the state couldn’t organize a trial within a year,\nyet it could organize a review commission to recommend suspending\nthe school board members.\n
