\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThe vote was unanimous for\r\n\r\nthe resolution against the Sabal Trail pipeline<\/a>\r\nat the Lowndes County Commission Tuesday,\r\nto be followed tonight by the Valdosta City Council voting on\r\n\r\ntheir resolution of support for Lowndes County against Sabal Trail<\/a>,\r\nincluding\r\n\r\nan additional clause about protecting our drinking water in the Floridan Aquifer<\/a>.\r\nThis follows a long string of\r\n\r\ncounty and city resolutions against<\/a> that unnecessary,\r\ndestructive, and hazardous pipeline boondoggle.\r\n

\r\nSpeaking of boondoggles,\r\n\r\n see\r\nADS wants a trash raise<\/a>\r\nin the LAKE videos of the previous morning’s Work Session.\r\nInstead of suing a local business to enforce an exclusive franchise for a company\r\nbacked by investors in New York City, the Commission still could make a special tax district for trash collection,\r\njust like they approved several Tax Lighting Districts at Tuesday’s\r\nmeeting.\r\n

\r\nThey unanimously rezoned\r\n\r\nREZ-2014-19 Chain Sports<\/a> with the conditions proposed by staff.\r\nAmong multiple applicants for both\r\n\r\nKLVB<\/a> and the Tourism Authority,\r\nin a rare event they had\r\n\r\na split vote on the latter<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThe County Clerk said\r\n\r\nthe new website will go live Friday 12 December 2014<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThey also recognized \r\n\r\nSusan Mullis and Flower Gallery<\/a> for decorating the Christmas Tree\r\nin the lobby,\r\nand\r\n\r\nsaid farewell to Commissioners Raines and Powell<\/a>.\r\n
