\r\n\r\nHIV disease continues to be an issue where shame and hiding lead to\r\nindividuals remaining unaware of their status and not taking\r\nadvantage of life-saving treatment. Creating a climate in\r\ncommunities and in health care where consumers feel valued and\r\naccepted is the opportunity to health and healing.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

Jim Sacco, M.S.W. is\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\"300x300<\/a>\r\n a trainer and consultant who has been involved\r\nin HIV prevention and care since 1984. As a social worker, he has\r\nprovided HIV care in medical, mental health, and community-based\r\nsettings. As a trainer, his clients include academic and\r\ngovernmental organizations throughout the U.S. Jim has trained more\r\nthan 40,000 health care workers since 1986.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nJoin Jim as he shares how communities, health care settings, and\r\nfamilies can embrace the truth and let healing begin.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n
