Reverend Joseph Lowery, Civil Rights Leader and Medal\nof Freedom recipient stated that &#8220;Everyone is in Jeopardy, as long as\nthe Governor can suspend your term of office, no one is safe.&#8221; State\nRepresentative Tyrone Brooks, President of GABEO, stated that he\n&#8220;will take this case the U.S. Department of Justice&#8221;. GABEO will hold\ntheir winter conference on February 24-26 2012 in Quitman, Georgia and\nhave planned a March and Rally on the courthouse to demand the charges\nbe dropped and the suspension of their terms be lifted. Kevin Miles,\nRegional Director of NAACP, reminded the audience that the residents of\nQuitman were harassed and intimidated on their jobs and at their homes\nby officials about whom they voted for.\n<p>\nDr. Dennard, one of The Quitman 10 and newly elected School Board\nPresident, stated that they have been accused of voter fraud, when all\nthey did was go out, campaigned, and were elected by the people to office.\nReverend Samuel Mosteller, President of Georgia Chapter of SCLC, stated\nthat &#8220;your voting rights are in danger.&#8221; Others in attendance were Joe\nBeasley of Rainbow Push Coalition, Dianne Mathowitz with AIC, Peace and\nJustice Committee and members of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus.\n<\/blockquote>\nGeorge also wrote:\n<blockquote>\nMoreover, the information proves; that I have been right from the start;\nthat the South Georgia News Media (WHITEOUT MACHINE) would never publish\nsuch information to the citizens of South Georgia.
