REZ-2014-16 Bailey, Madison Hwy\/Williams School Ln\" src=\"http:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/LkxBmPV4VdY\/default.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LkxBmPV4VdY&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiHkEqNW7MktlSnQXUXinDVA&#038;index=6\">Video.<\/a>\r\nCounty Planner Jason Davenport said applicant was willing to consider M1,\r\nand Staff had recommended CC.\r\nCommissioner Demarcus Marshall wanted to know what hazardous waste meant.\r\nCommissioner Crawford Powell wanted to confirm that they&#8217;d be grandfathered\r\nin for the current business regardless of which rezoning; answer: yes.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nNobody spoke in opposition.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nApplicant spoke in favor.\r\nShe worried that if a tornado tore down the building,\r\nthey couldn&#8217;t build a new one without rezoning.\r\nChairman asked if that could be handled through conditional use.\r\nAnswer from County Planner, no, due to the ordinance.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nGretchen Quarterman\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LkxBmPV4VdY&#038;index=6&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiHkEqNW7MktlSnQXUXinDVA&#038;t=9m32s\">also spoke in favor<\/a>,\r\nnoting that on her appointed board,\r\nthe Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBOA),\r\noften people wanted a variance to replace a building that\r\nwas damaged by a storm, because they were in a non-conforming situation.\r\nShe said she admired a person who wanted to get it right for their\r\nexisting building.\r\nAlso expanding a building often requires a variance.\r\n<blockquote>\r\nYou have the opportunity right now to make their business whole.\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCommissioners continued to discuss the issue for another nine minutes.\r\nGriner and Powell were concerned about resale of the property:\r\nwhat else might go in there, also about population density nearby.\r\nCounty Planner Jason Davenport recommended looking at the\r\naerial map, which you can see\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/loco\/2014-10-13--commission-packet\/big\/SCAN1062.html\">\r\nin the board packet LAKE requisitioned, scanned, and posted<\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align:center;font-size:80%\">\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/loco\/2014-10-13--commission-packet\/big\/SCAN1062.html\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border:none\" src=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/loco\/2014-10-13--commission-packet\/SCAN1062.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nDavenport also said Commission could put a requirement for rezoning\r\nin case of change of ownership.\r\nAlso, in response to a question by Demarcus Marshall,\r\nthat the county had no outstanding code enforcement or other issues\r\nwith the applicant;\r\nthe rezoning was because the applicant wanted to clean up the\r\ngrandfathered issue.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/loco\/2014-10-13--commission-packet\/SCAN1066.html\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none\" src=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/loco\/2014-10-13--commission-packet\/small\/SCAN1066.jpg\"><\/a>\r\nCommissioner Powell suggested tabling to consider M-1.\r\nCommissioner Raines want to know the difference between C-C and M-1.\r\nDavenport recommended looking at &#8220;the table&#8221;,\r\nwhich you can see\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/loco\/2014-10-13--commission-packet\/SCAN1066.html\">\r\nin the board packet LAKE requisitioned, scanned, and posted<\/a>,\r\nand noted that C-C would be more restrictive in certain ways.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nEventually the tabled so county could discuss M-1 and C-C with applicant.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<li>\r\n<a name=\"Foxbourgh-Lift-Station-Pump-Replacement\" href=\"#Foxbourgh-Lift-Station-Pump-Replacement\">\r\n7.a.
