\n$30,040.20, so this is yet another single-sourced non-competitive deal.

          \nCounty Engineer Mike Fletcher said two of three adjoining property owners are in favor:

          \nHe was apparently was playing telephone tag with the landowners to the east,
          \nyet he thought it would be ready for a public hearing tomorrow.<\/p>\n

          \nHow are people supposed to know to go to a public hearing
          \nwhen it’s on the agenda for the wrong street,
          \nnot to mention with no street address?\n<\/p>\n

          \nCommissioner Demarcus Marshall wanted to know how the land would
          \nbe split up.
          \nAnswer: 50-50 between the adjoining landowners.<\/p>\n

            \nAfter a brief presentation by District Attorney J. David Miller (whom we know reads this blog), Commissioners had no questions.
            \nHe wanted a renewal of a grant funded by fines on criminal defendants
            \nin federal court.
            \nEven the 5% match is paid for by fines.
            \nThe money supports victim services in five counties.\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
