\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nFive\r\ncitizens spoke<\/a>, on topics including\r\n\r\nthe “horrible wretched smell”<\/a> from ADS,\r\nthe\r\nSabal Trail pipeline<\/a>,\r\n\r\nthe proposed local charter school<\/a>,\r\nand\r\n\r\nthe board packet and the Alapaha River Water Trail<\/a>.\r\nChairman Bill Slaughter asserted there had been nineteen applicants\r\nfor the\r\n\r\nPlanning Commission appointment<\/a> and seemed to think the public\r\nshould be happy about that, having learned it presumably by telepathy.\r\nHe didn’t divulge who those applicants were, and the only one\r\nin the board packet<\/a> (charming young white guy Brad Folsom)\r\n\r\n\"300x450<\/a>\r\nwas appointed after somebody reminded\r\nthe Chairman to at least get a motion first.\r\nThey also appointed Commissioner Joyce Evans to the\r\n\r\nGeorgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities<\/a>.\r\nOn the\r\n\r\nGP Investments water rezoning<\/a>,\r\nCounty Planner Jason Davenport didn’t know whether there had been\r\na dump site there or where the well would go, but they approved it anyway.\r\n\r\nThey also approved the bookkeeping\r\n\r\nULDC updates for Special Events, Zoning Map, Fees<\/a>\r\nand they have since put the new zoning map online!\r\n

\r\nThey approved unanimously the\r\n\r\nannual prisoner work detail contract<\/a> without even mentioning the cost.\r\nAnd unanimously with no discussion they approved the\r\n\r\nHahira extratorial request<\/a>.\r\n
