\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nLooks like the 5720 S. Hagan Bridge address is in\r\nVALOR GIS map<\/a> for\r\n\r\nthe Hahira extraterritorial request<\/a>\r\nin the\r\n\r\nboard packet<\/a>, which appears to have been received as an attachment to\r\n\r\nthe request letter from Hahira<\/a>.\r\nIt’s easier to see if you go directly to\r\nVALOR GIS<\/a>\r\nand zoom in.\r\nWhich raises the question of why is the address in VALOR GIS\r\ndifferent from the address in the\r\n\r\nTax Assessors map<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nMr. Allen said 5720 S Hagan Bridge Rd, which is the agenda address I\r\nwas also given by one of the County Commissioners Tuesday afternoon.\r\n5710 S Hagan Bridge Rd is the address in the Tax Assessors records\r\nand also the address that was approved by the Hahira City Council in\r\nprevious meetings. So where did the 5720 address come from and I\r\nalso agree that the correct address and owner name should have been\r\npublished for public record. The 5710 property owned by John Bailey\r\nwas purchased in February 2014 and almost immediately the Hahira\r\nCity Council was approached about furnishing water\/sewer to the\r\nproperty. The 1.83 acre piece of property which was listed as a\r\nmobile home sale seems a pretty innocuous water\/sewer request.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nHowever, once the water\/sewer is furnished by the city it would not\r\nbe hard to imagine another seemingly innocuous request to annex said\r\nproperty into the city which could make a profitable gateway to\r\npossible annexation of some or all of the 200 plus acres of adjacent\r\nproperties currently vested in a lifetime estate and probably open\r\nfor investment. Just a thought to go with the address confusion\r\nalready cited. Wouldn’t it be nice if all the cards were always just\r\nlaid out on the table so we did not have to guess and speculate.\r\n

\r\nI’ve been told the lack of information is just good strategy on the\r\npart of developers. I personally would like to go back to the days\r\nwhen integrity and honesty were more important than strategy.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
