\nIt is indeed time that we begin to put people on these governing bodies\n\n<\/a>\nwho gonna represent the best interests of the people.\nI don’t care whether you’re black or white, Jew or Gentile,\nProtestant or Catholic.\nBut it is time now for us to stop just putting someone on the council\nbecause they look like us.\nWe need to put people on the Council and the\nCounty Commissioners\nwho’s going to stand up as the founding fathers of our Republic.\nAnd I mean the founding fathers of those who put themselves\nin the civil rights struggle on the front lines to do what is right.\n<\/blockquote>\nThen he said Valdosta City Councilman James Wright would\nbe on George’s radio program,\nand he invited all the rest of them to appear on his show,\nMagic 95, 950 AM.\n
