\r\nPretty much everyone I know (regardless of political party, religion, or financial status) likes clean air, clean water, and clean food,\r\nand being able to use their own property without having\r\nfossil fuel corporations gouge a pipeline through it.\r\nMost people don’t like their property flooded or polluted\r\nor having their tax dollars going to clean up\r\nfloods or explosions or superfund sites caused by\r\ncorporate greed, and most people are willing to have\r\nreasonable rules for development to prevent those problems.\r\nThat is sustainability.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nFor those (most people) who have never heard of the “Agenda 21” talking points,\r\nthey are attacks on sustainability alleging anybody who favors\r\nsustainability is against marriage and private property and wants\r\nto make everyone move into tenements stacked on top of each other.\r\nOh, and supposedly the U.N. is the villain.\r\nUsing something called the “Delphi technique” to subvert people’s minds.\r\nWoooo!\r\n

\r\nThe “Agenda 21” paranoia is caused by the fossil fuel industry.\r\nThe anti-sustainability\r\n\r\n“Agenda 21” talking points<\/a> are propaganda to make it easier for the fossil fuel industry to continue to profit by dirtying everyone’s\r\nair and water while spewing enough greenhouse gases (especially\r\nCO2 and methane) to raise the planet’s temperature and cause climate change.\r\n

\r\nThere is\r\n\r\na real U.N. Agenda 21<\/a>, which is a toothless United Nations\r\nwhite paper that in more than 20 years has accomplished almost nothing\r\nfor real sustainability.\r\n

\r\nListed below is a series of articles that explains all this in more detail.\r\nIf you can’t rebut what I wrote in these articles,\r\nand the numerous sources cited in them,\r\ndon’t come here parrotting the “Agenda 21” talking points.\r\nHint: asserting there really is a U.N. Agenda 21 is not a rebuttal.\r\nThe real Agenda 21 bears no resemblance to the “Agenda 21” talking points.\r\nRepeating those astroturf talking points is working against your own\r\nself-interest.\r\nFree your mind.\r\n
